What happens at Mission Adventures for kids?

Kids are challenged every Sunday at Mission Adventures to discover who God is and have a deep and growing friendship with Him through prayer, Bible study, and worship, as well as creating Christian friendships, support, and accountability.

Each week kids and leaders encounter God's Word in detail through a series of stations including crafts, games, memory verse activities, teachings, and snacks that all reinforce each week's Bible truth.

The Children are now in a series called 'Wild God.' Every four weeks the kids jump into a Wild God 'mini-theme' that focuses on specific biblical characteristics of our Lord Jesus. Each week the kids have the opportunity to join in on several different stationed activities including:

  • Green Quadrant- A 'Break out group' study Station: Kids and leaders gather here for group prayer. Also this is the station where kids have the chance to practice memory verses and 'treasure hunts' in a small group setting. They can earn points, to earn a prize at the end of the series.
  • Red Quadrant- Game/Activity Station: Activities at this station include: games, crafts, skits, illustrations and snack.
  • Blue Quadrant-  Worship: Sing and Dance Station: Here kids learn how to worship and praise God with singing, dance, and instruments.
  • Black Quadrant- Teaching and Learning Station: Here kids listen to bible stories and do activities that help them to better understand and apply God's word.

Come join us for the fun!
